A fairly flat walk from the picturesque village of Alkborough, famous for Julian's Bower - an ancient Turf Maze.The route crosses arable land to Winteringham and returns along the Humber flood bank.

Following the successful reintroduction of Red Kites into Yorkshire at Harewood, these magnificient birds can now be sighted on the Yorkshire Wolds.
On 'Walks with Underwood', where you see my 'Red Kite Country' logo, look out for these large birds soaring on the wind - easily identified by that characteristic forked tail.
